A 650 is not one universal subject split. Start with the official score formula, measure where your own paper loses marks, and repair the two loss patterns that matter most.

Start with the math

650 is a marks budget, not a promise

Under the current official marking scheme, your score is four times your correct answers, minus your wrong answers. Unanswered questions score zero. These are three exact ways the arithmetic can reach 650, not recommended attempt targets.

Pick no more than two repairs after each paper. A long list of weaknesses usually becomes no plan at all.

Diagnose before revising

Biology

Was this a recall, statement-reading, diagram or elimination error?

Return to the exact NCERT passage or diagram, close the book, reproduce the fact, then retest it after two days.

Chemistry

Was this a calculation, reaction-logic or factual-recall error?

Keep physical, organic and inorganic mistakes separate. Their repair methods are different, even when the lost marks look identical.

Physics

Did the loss come from setup, units, sign, approximation or abandoning the problem?

Redo the first incorrect line without a timer. Then solve one nearby problem under time pressure to prove the repair transfers.

A repeatable month

Run a four-week paper-to-correction cycle

Fit this loop around your available study hours. The sequence matters more than a rigid daily timetable.

  1. Week 1

    Set the baseline

    Take one complete paper. Record score, wrong, blank and guessed-correct answers by subject.

  2. Week 2

    Repair the biggest leak

    Choose the error type costing the most marks. Revise it, then use short timed question blocks to check the fix.

  3. Week 3

    Measure the transfer

    Take a second complete paper. Compare subject scores and repeated error types, not only the total score.

  4. Week 4

    Retest the repeat errors

    Take a third paper, revisit recurring misses and keep only the two corrections that should lead the next cycle.

The decision rule

Improve the cause, then watch the marks

If a subject score rises but the same error type repeats, the repair is not stable yet. If the error type falls but the total score stays flat, inspect another subject before changing the whole plan. Judge direction over several full papers, not one unusually easy or difficult paper.
