1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using the Rankify website, mobile interface, or any associated services (collectively, the “Platform”), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms in their entirety, you must immediately cease using the Platform.

These Terms constitute a binding legal agreement between you (“User,” “You,” or “Your”) and Rankify (“Company,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”). By using the Platform, you represent that you are at least 18 years of age or, if you are between 13 and 18 years of age, that you have obtained the consent of your parent or legal guardian to these Terms.

2. Description of Service

Rankify is an online mock test platform that provides access to previous year question (PYQ) papers for competitive examinations including, but not limited to, NEET (UG), JEE Main, and JEE Advanced. The Platform offers a computer-based test (CBT) simulator, performance analytics, mistake tracking, and revision tools. The specific features available to a User depend on the plan selected (Free or paid subscription).

3. User Eligibility & Age Restriction

3.1 Eligibility. The Platform is intended for students preparing for competitive examinations in India. By registering, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 13 years of age; and
• If you are between 13 and 18 years of age, your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these Terms on your behalf; and
• You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract; and
• You are not barred from using the Platform under applicable Indian law.

3.2 Parental/Guardian Consent.Users under the age of 18 (“Minor Users”) must obtain verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian before registering. By creating an account, the Minor User confirms that such consent has been obtained. The parent or guardian agrees to be bound by these Terms and accepts responsibility for the Minor User’s use of the Platform, including all financial obligations.

3.3 Verification. We reserve the right to request age verification documents and to suspend or terminate accounts where valid parental consent cannot be confirmed.

4. Account Registration & Security

4.1 Registration. To access certain features, you must create an account by providing accurate, current, and complete information (including your name, email address, and a password). You agree to update your information promptly if it changes.

4.2 Account Responsibility. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. You must notify us immediately at legal@rankify.qzz.io of any unauthorized use of your account.

4.3 Account Sharing. Sharing your account credentials with any third party is strictly prohibited. Accounts found to be shared may be suspended or terminated without refund.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Pricing. All prices displayed on the Platform are in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of 18% Goods and Services Tax (GST) unless stated otherwise. Prices are one-time payments for the specified plan duration — no recurring or subscription charges apply.

5.2 Payment Processing.All payments are processed securely through Razorpay, a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. We do not store or have access to your full payment card details. By making a payment, you agree to Razorpay’s terms of service and privacy policy.

5.3 GST Invoice. A GST invoice will be generated and sent to your registered email address within 7 business days of the transaction. Please retain this invoice for your records.

5.4 Tax Compliance. You are responsible for any additional taxes, duties, or levies applicable in your jurisdiction. We reserve the right to revise pricing at any time, with changes taking effect for new purchases only.

6. Refund & Cancellation Policy

6.1 Standard Refund — Mock Test Plans (7-Day Guarantee). For paid mock test plans purchased on the Platform, we offer a 7-day money-back guarantee from the date of purchase. If you are not satisfied with the Platform, you may request a refund by emailing support@rankify.qzz.io within 7 calendar days of purchase. Please include your registered email address and order ID (Razorpay payment ID) in your request.

6.2 Refund Calculation. The refund amount for mock test plans shall be calculated as:

• Amount paid, minus 18% GST (which has been remitted to the government and is non-recoverable);
• Minus applicable payment gateway charges (typically 2–5% of the transaction amount, as charged by Razorpay);
• Minus any test attempts already consumed under the plan.

6.3 Processing Time. Refunds will be processed within 5–7 business days from the date of approval. The refund will be credited to the original payment method used at the time of purchase.

6.4 General Policy — All Other Purchases. Except for the mock test plan refund described in Section 6.1 above, all other sales on the Platform are final. Once payment is made and the transaction is completed, no changes, modifications, or cancellations can be made. We do not offer refunds for such purchases.

6.5 Scholarship Refunds.For programs offering scholarships, refunds may be available in the form of scholarships for students who meet specific eligibility criteria. Eligibility and the availability of such scholarships vary by program. Only selected programs offer scholarship opportunities. Students must consult the specific program’s details page for guidelines and to verify whether a scholarship refund is available.

6.6 Abusive Behavior. We uphold a zero-tolerance policy toward any form of abusive behavior. If you direct derogatory or abusive language toward our team via email, WhatsApp, or any social media platform, your access to any paid program will be immediately terminatedwithout refund. Additionally, you will be permanently ineligible for any scholarships associated with the program, and all future enrollments will be revoked.

6.7 Piracy. Engaging in piracy of any sort is strictly prohibited. If you are found to be involved in piracy, your access to the program will be revokedwithout any refund, and you will be barred from any future enrollments. Furthermore, we reserve the right to file lawsuits and pursue criminal charges against you to the fullest extent of the law.

7. License & Access

Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Platform for your personal, non-commercial examination preparation purposes. This license does not include the right to:

• Reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from Platform content;
• Sublicense, resell, or commercially exploit any part of the Platform;
• Use the Platform for any competitive benchmarking or commercial research;
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any technical protection measures.

8. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable Indian law or regulation;
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Platform, other user accounts, or our systems;
• Introduce viruses, trojans, worms, logic bombs, or any other malicious code;
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform;
• Use automated means (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access or collect data from the Platform without our express written permission;
• Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity.

9. Intellectual Property

9.1 Ownership.The Platform, including all content, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, question banks, test papers, software, algorithms, and underlying technology (collectively, “Content”), is the exclusive property of Rankify or its licensors and is protected by the Indian Copyright Act, 1957, the Trade Marks Act, 1999, and applicable international intellectual property laws.

9.2 Question Bank. The question bank includes previous year questions from examinations conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA), Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), and other examining bodies. These questions are reproduced for educational and practice purposes under the doctrine of fair dealing as recognized under Section 52 of the Indian Copyright Act, 1957.

9.3 Trademarks.The name “Rankify,” its logos, and related marks are unregistered trademarks of Rankify. You may not use these marks without our prior written consent.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS, WITHOUT ANY WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT;
• WARRANTIES THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, TIMELY, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE;
• WARRANTIES REGARDING THE ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, OR COMPLETENESS OF ANY CONTENT OR TEST RESULTS.

10.1 No Guarantee of Exam Results. Rankify is a practice and preparation tool. We expressly disclaim any guarantee or warranty that use of the Platform will improve your scores or performance in any actual examination. Individual results vary based on numerous factors beyond our control.

10.2 No Endorsement. The inclusion of previous year questions from NTA, CBSE, or other examining bodies does not imply endorsement, sponsorship, or affiliation with those bodies. Rankify is an independent platform not affiliated with NTA, CBSE, IITs, AIIMS, or any other examination authority.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE INDIAN LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL RANKIFY, ITS OWNERS, OPERATORS, OR AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR:

• ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES;
• LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES;
• DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE PLATFORM;
• UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA;
• STATEMENTS OR CONDUCT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE PLATFORM.

OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID BY YOU TO US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM. THIS LIMITATION SHALL APPLY REGARDLESS OF THE THEORY OF LIABILITY (CONTRACT, TORT, STATUTE, OR OTHERWISE) AND EVEN IF WE HAVE BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Rankify, its owners, operators, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:

• Your use of the Platform in violation of these Terms;
• Your violation of any applicable law or the rights of any third party;
• Any content or data you submit or transmit through the Platform;
• Any dispute between you and another user of the Platform.

13. Termination

13.1 By You. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@rankify.qzz.io. Termination will be effective within 7 business days.

13.2 By Us. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account immediately, without prior notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent activity, or if your conduct could harm other users, our Platform, or our legal interests.

13.3 Effect of Termination. Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Paid plans are not refundable in the event of termination for cause (violation of Terms).

13.4 Survival.Sections 9 (Intellectual Property), 10 (Disclaimer of Warranties), 11 (Limitation of Liability), 12 (Indemnification), 14 (Governing Law & Jurisdiction), and 18 (Contact) shall survive any termination of these Terms.

14. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

14.1 Governing Law. These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India, including the Indian Contract Act, 1872; the Information Technology Act, 2000; the Consumer Protection Act, 2019; and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, as applicable.

14.2 Jurisdiction. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts situated in India. You hereby consent to the personal jurisdiction of such courts and waive any objection based on inconvenient forum.

15. Dispute Resolution

15.1 Amicable Resolution. Before initiating any legal proceedings, you agree to first contact us at legal@rankify.qzz.io and attempt to resolve the dispute informally for a period of 30 days.

15.2 Consumer Protection. Nothing in this section limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including the right to file complaints before the appropriate consumer dispute redressal forum. If you are a consumer, you may avail of alternative dispute resolution mechanisms through the National Consumer Dispute Redressal Commission (NCDRC) or applicable state/district forums.

16. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting the updated Terms on the Platform, with the “Last updated” date revised accordingly. For material changes, we will make reasonable efforts to notify active users via email. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of any changes constitutes your acceptance of the modified Terms. If you do not agree to the changes, you must stop using the Platform and terminate your account.

17. Miscellaneous

17.1 Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

17.2 No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms shall not constitute a waiver of such right or provision.

17.3 Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Rankify regarding your use of the Platform and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.

17.4 Force Majeure. We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform our obligations under these Terms if such delay or failure results from events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, government actions, strikes, natural disasters, or internet infrastructure failures.

17.5 Assignment. You may not assign or transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms freely in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
