What's Changing in NEET 2027?
The National Testing Agency (NTA) official NEET UG portal has officially announced that NEET UG 2027 will transition from the traditional pen-and-paper (OMR) format to a fully computer-based test (CBT). This is the biggest change in NEET's history since its introduction in 2013.

How to Prepare for NEET CBT Mode
The shift to CBT requires adapting your preparation strategy. Here's what changes:
1. Practice on a Computer, Not Paper
The reading experience on a screen is different from paper. Train your eyes and brain to read questions from a monitor. Use Rankify's CBT simulator for realistic practice.
2. Master the Interface
Learn the question palette, marking for review, save & next navigation, and section switching. The NTA interface layout is standardized — Rankify replicates it exactly.
3. Digital Navigation Skills
Since rough work is done on the provided paper, practice reading and solving problems from a screen. Learn to toggle between questions quickly and use the 'Mark for Review' feature effectively.
4. Time Management in CBT
With 200 minutes for 180 questions, you have ~66 seconds per question. In CBT mode, switching between questions is faster than flipping OMR sheets — use this to your advantage.
Benefits of CBT Mode for Students
Instant Scoring
No more waiting for OMR evaluation. Results are processed faster in digital format.
Zero Marking Errors
Eliminates OMR sheet filling errors, smudging, or improper marking that could invalidate answers.
Easy Navigation
Instantly jump between questions, mark for review, and track attempted vs pending questions.
